Air Travel creates LOTS of CO2 emissions, contributing to Climate Change. The result is excess heat, drought, fires, floods and stronger hurricanes; impacting livelihoods & lives, particularly of the world's poorest. We make it easy. We plant trees for you to tackle Climate Change AND Extreme Poverty. What's special is - IAHV has highest impact for what you donate! Remove 1 Tonne of CO2 for your holidays. Planting fruit trees is worth to the locals 30 times, so they escape poverty.
Global temperaturesare rising sea levels threatening biodiversity as we're still burning fossilfuels & a third of the damage is due to transport. 2024 was the hottest year ever recorded, with global temps surpassing the 1.5C limit set by the Paris Agreement-now abandoned by the U.S., Iran, Yemen, and Libya. Countries like Madagascar, are hit hardest, with over 80% people trapped in extreme poverty, 1.3 million face malnutrition, and UK aid cuts of 40% leave them more vulnerable to crisis.
Our project empowers communities in Madagascar to plant trees, restore nature, and rebuild livelihoods. Offset 1T CO for 30 yrs-plant 50 trees for just 20 with our for match! Locals are paid for every tree that survives-and all the fruit is theirs! A single 4-year-old avocado tree can yield 100 fruits, creating lasting income. These trees also capture carbon, support the water cycle, and boost biodiversity-benefiting both people and planet. Also, we plant 15% extra trees, just in case.
Your 100 plants 250 trees. Because for every tree you plant, a large donor generously matches you trees 1:1 Over 30 years: Your 250 trees remove 5 Tonnes of CO2 on average for every year for the 30+ years the trees are growing! The fruit is worth at least 3000 since trees produce so much fruit Planting trees is both high impact and low cost. Planting trees has the potential to remove over 10%of global CO2 emissions. It's a mission to restore nature & revive struggling local communities.
