On the morning of February 6th, a powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck east of Gaziantep, causing widespread destruction and prompting many to flee into the streets. In response, the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has initiated relief efforts from its international office in Turkey to assist those affected by the disaster. The organization is providing aid to those in need in the severely affected cities, which were the epicentre of the quake.
A devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck east of Gaziantep on February 6th, causing widespread damage to buildings, killing more than 5,000 people and forcing hundreds of people to evacuate into the streets. The quake, which lasted more than a minute and struck at 04:17 local time, caused severe harm to homes and structures. The search for survivors continues, and another 7.5 magnitude earthquake later in the day added to the urgency of the situation.
