Dear donor,
It has been more than one and a half years since the devastating earthquake of Southeast Türkiye. The affected area was too big, number of people whose lives changed was too many and unfortunately the situation is no longer headlining the news. The government is focused on hasty construction of housings which were started without proper investigation of the needs of the people.
CYDD is continually inquiring after the needs of the people through its various branches in the area. The new CYDD representation office in Adyaman which was founded by a previous CYDD scholarship student now a teacher in Adyaman, reported many students in need. So we expect hundreds of new scholarship applications from Adyaman and Mardin.
We want to give priority to scholarship applications from earthquake stricken southeastern Türkiye and for this we need your support. So thank you..
The CYDD Samandag Activity Center we talked about in our previous reports was moved ( all containers and tents with all its equipmentant) at the end of summer to a new location given by the Samandag municipality and will be again operating in the new year in cooperation with the municipality.
