Since 2023, Punthuk Sewu Learning Center has developed several educational facilities that support training, community empowerment, and learning services. These facilities serve different groups with diverse educational needs, including:
1. Children of Primary and Secondary School Age (5–15 years)
For this age group, we provide afternoon and evening learning programs. These services aim to provide additional academic support to enhance students' performance in school, particularly in households where parents are unable to offer adequate learning assistance at home.
We provide dedicated teachers and modest learning facilities to ensure that children can grow and learn according to their developmental stage. The learning materials include human values education, science, mathematics, and language skills.
2. Senior High School Students and University Students (16–25 years)
This program focuses on practical skills to improve economic opportunities, particularly in sustainable agriculture, livestock farming, and conservation. We collaborate with educational institutions such as Diponegoro School and Universitas Gadjah Mada.
At our training center, participants receive hands-on training in sustainable agriculture, including organic farming based on permaculture principles, livestock management, and conservation practices. This approach enables learners to integrate theoretical knowledge with hands-on technical practice.
3. Farmer and Livestock Communities
This service is designed to strengthen the capacity of farming and livestock communities to adopt sustainable agricultural and livestock practices that improve their livelihoods. We offer free training to community groups that aim to enhance their skills in these areas.
Existing Facilities (Despite Limited Resources)
Although our facilities remain modest, we currently operate the following infrastructure:
In addition, INFEST Foundation collaborates with partner communities in several regions that serve as extended learning sites, including Blora, which functions as a sustainable forest conservation learning area.
What Are We Developing Next?
We aim to upgrade our facilities and services to provide formal vocational education that meets Indonesia's growing needs in the agriculture and livestock sectors. Formal vocational education will allow us to serve more participants while ensuring higher-quality learning outcomes.
Our target is to develop facilities that can accommodate approximately 300 students, supported by adequate infrastructure, including:
