Dear Donors and Supporters,
As we conclude January 2026, we are excited to share the latest progress from the Punthuk Sewu Learning Center. This month, our focus has been on strengthening the academic foundation of our school-age students and providing them with the specialized support they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Empowering Students through Academic Mentorship
For children in underprivileged communities, access to quality tutoring is often the missing link between staying in school and dropping out. This month, our Academic Mentorship Program has been highly active, providing students with a safe and supportive environment to reinforce what they learn in their formal classrooms.
Our curriculum this period has focused on three core pillars:
Beyond the Classroom: Character and Growth
In addition to these core subjects, our daily interactions emphasize discipline, creativity, and the "can-do" spirit. We believe that by combining high-quality academic support with character development, we are not just helping children pass their exams—we are helping them build a better future.
Next Steps: Moving Forward Together
Looking ahead to February, we plan to:
Thank you for your continued support. Your contributions are directly funding the tutors, learning materials, and facilities that make these classes possible. You are helping us turn Punthuk Sewu into a true sanctuary of learning.
With gratitude,
The Punthuk Sewu Team
