Help Us Transform Informal Learning Center into a Formal School for Underprivileged

By Irsyadul Ibad | Project Leader

Our work has focused on providing informal education and skills training for children and youth in rural Indonesia since 2023. We are ready to take the next critical step: upgrading our educational services from informal learning into a formal vocational education pathway.

Through the Eco Vocational School Indonesia project, we aim to establish a formal, accredited vocational school that equips rural youth with practical, future-ready skills—while remaining rooted in sustainability, community needs, and environmental stewardship.

What This Transformation Means

Moving from informal education to formal vocational education allows us to:

  • Offer recognized vocational qualifications

  • Provide structured pathways from learning to employment

  • Expand access to education for youth excluded from conventional schooling

  • Strengthen long-term institutional sustainability

This transition is essential to ensure that learning does not stop at short courses, but leads to real jobs, green livelihoods, and dignified futures.

Fundraising Progress Update

This initiative is still at an early stage.
So far, our GlobalGiving campaign has raised $418 toward our total goal of $359,121. While the journey is long, every contribution helps lay the foundation for this formal vocational institution.

Why Your Support Matters

By supporting the Eco Vocational School, you are helping to:

  • Establish a formal vocational education institution for rural youth

  • Equip students with knowledge, sciences, practical skills in agribusiness

  • Reduce unsafe migration by creating local employment opportunities

  • Strengthen rural economies while protecting the environment

How Your Donation Creates Impact

Your contribution will directly support:

  • Construction of classrooms and training facilities

  • Development of eco-vocational curricula and certification pathways

  • Training of qualified instructors and mentors

  • Access to tools, equipment, and hands-on learning resources
