Skills Are the Future of Rural Youth

By Mufid | Teacher at Punthuk Sewu

For rural youth, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, practical skills are the key to survival, dignity, and a sustainable future.

This Vocational School Indonesia is designed to equip young people with real, job-ready skills rooted in their local context—sustainable agriculture, livestock management, green entrepreneurship, and circular economy practices. These are skills that respond directly to local market needs while protecting the environment.

Too many rural youth finish school without employable skills. As a result, they face unemployment, unstable informal work, or risky migration. This vocational school offers a clear alternative: education that leads to competence, confidence, and livelihood.

By supporting this project, you help:

  • Prepare rural youth with hands-on vocational skills
  • Connect education to real economic opportunities
  • Promote green and sustainable livelihoods
  • Strengthen rural communities from within

This is not just about building a school. It is about building futures powered by skills.

Support skills-based education that truly prepares youth for life.

Together, we can ensure that rural youth are not left behind—but move forward with skills that last.
