Education for Every Village Child

By mufid | Project Staff

A child’s future should not be determined by where they are born.

Yet across rural Indonesia, thousands of children grow up with limited access to quality education. While urban schools benefit from stronger infrastructure, better technology, and broader exposure, many village schools operate with minimal facilities and fewer learning resources.

The difference is not in potential.
It is in opportunity.

In rural communities, parents often work long hours in agriculture or informal sectors just to sustain daily life. Many lack the educational background needed to guide their children’s academic journey. Books are scarce. Digital access is limited. Dropout risks remain high.

When access to education is unequal, poverty becomes generational.

Education for Every Village Child is our commitment to changing that reality.

At Punthuk Sewu Learning Center, we believe that every child—regardless of geography or income—deserves:

  • Strong foundations in literacy and numeracy

  • Access to science and technology education

  • Practical vocational skills for the future

  • Character development rooted in discipline and values

  • A safe and nurturing learning environment

Our vision is to transform our current learning center into a formal vocational school that integrates junior secondary education with hands-on agribusiness and STEM training. Through a structured boarding model, we aim to provide stability, mentorship, and opportunity to children who need it most.

By 2028, we plan to serve 400 students from underprivileged families—multiplying impact and expanding hope across rural communities.

This is not just about building classrooms.
It is about building access.
It is about building dignity.
It is about building a fairer future.

Education for Every Village Child is not charity—it is justice.

And together, we can make it a reality.
