Support Our July Bonus Day Campaign!

By mufid | Project Staff

We are excited to share that our project, Eco Vocational School for Rural Indonesia, has now raised USD 1,202 thanks to the generosity and support of people who believe in equitable education and sustainable rural development.

This support is helping us move closer toward building an inclusive vocational school for children and youth from underprivileged rural communities in Indonesia—combining formal education, practical livelihood skills, and environmental sustainability.

Now, we are preparing for GlobalGiving’s July Bonus Day Campaign, a special 24-hour fundraising opportunity that can multiply the impact of every donation.

Save the Date: July Bonus Day

Campaign Date:
July 15–16, 2026

During this campaign:

  • GlobalGiving will provide USD 150,000 in Incentive Funds for participating projects.
  • Donations between USD 100 and USD 1,500 per donor are eligible for bonus matching opportunities.
  • An additional USD 9,000 in bonus prizes will be awarded to top-performing projects.

This means your donation can go even further in supporting rural education and vocational training for vulnerable communities.

Why This Matters

At Punthuk Sewu Learning Center in Bantul, Yogyakarta, we are working to transform a grassroots learning initiative into a formal vocational education institution that serves children and youth from low-income rural families.

Our vision includes:

  • Affordable and inclusive formal education
  • STEM and literacy learning
  • Vocational training in agribusiness and livestock
  • Student dormitories for vulnerable learners
  • Character education and leadership development

By 2028, we aim to support up to 400 students through a structured boarding school and vocational training model.

How You Can Help

Please save the dates and join us during the July Bonus Day campaign. Your contribution—large or small—helps us build classrooms, learning facilities, and opportunities for rural children who deserve a fair chance at a better future.

Together, we can transform education into a pathway out of poverty.
