PACHATA will provide economic empowerment for 200 vulnerable women in Ilala District Tanzania, by starting economic activities like horticulture, small scale tailoring industry, poultry farming and fish farming. This group of women includes disabled women, widow women, women and girls living with HIV and group of girls from poorest families.
The recent financial crisis in the country brought many Tanzanian into poverty, among these people include vulnerable disabled women and girls, isolated women and girls from poorest families. PACHATA will empower 200 of these vulnerable women by providing them with entrepreneurship and financial management education, and open them economic activities that will help them to raise their income and improve their living standards which will result great change to their families and their community.
We will train 200 vulnerable women and girls on entrepreneurship and financial management skills on how to perform modern horticulture using greenhouse farming, commercial poultry farming, tailoring activities and commercial fishing. The training will focus on construction, site selection, production, harvesting, added value chain for their product and marketing skills. By providing them with a marketable skills these women and girls will lift themselves from poverty and improve living standard.
By empowering 200 vulnerable women financially will raise their family health and well-being, this will transform the whole family and community in general since empowered women will go on teaching their children and their family members.
