Implementation of the project economic empowerment for persons with epilepsy which aims to achieve financial stability and independence for persons with epilepsy, has not started yet due to the fact that the project has not yet raised funds since it was submitted in November 2024.
We planned to develop a business plan, assessment program for the persons with epilepsy (project participants), Training sessions for soap and detergent making and provision of start-up materials for business. Unfortunately, none of these has commenced due to the scarcity of project funds.
However, as we await project funding we conducted an entrepreneurship training in order to equip our support group members with business knowledge, after this training we have provided business start-up capital to three of our epilepsy support group members.
