"From dark to bright future!”
Meet Mrs. Letebrahan A., a resilient widow with 4 children from North Western Tigrai. After losing her husband in the conflict, she was in a difficult situation as there was no source of income to cover expenses for her children. She felt depressed, stressed and withdrew from her social life and lived dependently with her relatives. Amidst the darkness, hope emerged through our economic empowerment service project. She received basic business and positive parenting skills training and now runs a successful small shop. With our support, she’s feeding her children daily and sends them to school, saving for a brighter future and re-engaged with her community. Ongoing support and follow-up have been fruitful, and she is planning to expand her business. Her story of hope and progress inspires us all. Mrs. Letebrhan A.’s journey from despair to hope is a testament to self confidence and resilience. With continued support, stories like hers show that change is possible.
