Women in rural areas of the Zou department live in difficult conditions. They lack the resources, adequate training, and economic opportunities to support their families. Agricultural and agropastoral processing activities are neither profitable nor sustainable without technical and financial support. This project aims to break this cycle of poverty and provide these women with viable and sustainable economic opportunities.
This project will help build women's confidence, unity, social awareness, understanding, and leadership. Skills development, capacity building, and improving their living standards are key priorities in combating poverty. Villagers will be better educated, basic education for children will be developed, and finally, child marriage, the dowry system, and social ills will be eliminated.
The number of women living below the poverty line will be reduced. Through this project, poor village women will benefit from a better quality of life and livelihood, contributing to their social and economic empowerment. This will ensure a brighter future for these 250 women and their families.
