Conversatory " A volar alto"
Conversatory " A volar alto"

This quarter we made several bets:

In Cartagena we strengthened alliances with companies, with the objective of generating greater and better job opportunities for our mothers.

EMPLOYMENT:

In the Employability and Opportunity Center we have 1,993 graduates. 794 adolescent mothers are in the process of finding their first formal job.

This quarter we were able to:

Employ 49 adolescent mothers of which 37 obtained their first formal employment.

In February, CEO received 82 new adolescent mothers, graduates of the technical training programs with which we have been working on the labor market insertion process, through the following activities:

  • Accompaniment in their labor practice
  • Advice on their resumes
  • Application of psycho-technical tests for labor profiling.

COMPANIES:

Job profiling enables young women to have better job opportunities, adaptation and stability in jobs; in addition, companies receive candidates with a profile very adjusted to the one required for the vacancy, achieving better hiring results for both parties.

In this sense, from CEO we have 262 allied companies of which 32 of them were sensitized in this first quarter of 2023, with new and different approaches 7 new alliances and 148 jobs managed were achieved.

  • Assertiveness and commitment oriented to employment management.

EVENTS:

  • Together with Angie Caballero we conducted a female empowerment workshop called "A volar alto", where 46 graduates participated, of which 5 started a pilot plan to begin the preliminary stage with projection of formal linkage.
  • We participated in a space convened by Mercy Corps, where we socialized the tax incentives that employers may have when generating jobs for young people, women and migrant population.

We had a job fair with the participation of:

  • Companies attending: 8
  • 47 graduates
  • In this job fair we were able to link 2 of our adolescent mothers associated with their profile of graduation from the foundation: 1 waitress and 1 kitchen assistant.
