The story of BANOJIBI comes from the unique journey to provide systematic solutions for the local population and natural ecosystem under the Eco Village concept. This rural reconstruction approach is ultimately about a new social development model which is able to bring together economic and social progress with tourism and natural regeneration in one of the most precious natural ecosystems of the world; The Sundarbans Mangrove Forest. This is the journey of empowerment, collaboration, trust and social entrepreneurship through eco-tourism to shape a resilient future in the face of climate change, poverty and natural degradation. A community-based approach to have the way for a new relation between humans and nature.
