Without a proper waste dumping zone, it is very difficult to keep clean any campus. The awareness about the waste management practice of Bangladeshi people is very low. Most of the places there is no specific places to dump the waste. That’s why people through waste everywhere.
For getting a clean environment it is very important to develop a waste management system. In eco village campus a tree like structure was made for waste management. Where different type of waste was dump in different basket. Like degradable waste, plastic wrap, plastic bottle, glass etc. in different basket. So that it can be use in different way in different purpose. Such as degradable was can be use after compost as organic matter and plastic waste can be use in other way. That’s why differentiate the waste is important for farther use.
The people who live or work in eco village campus are now use this waste management tree and their changing habit help to make a clean environment in eco village campus.
