Coastal region of Bangladesh is every year facing the devasting natural disaster and every year faces lots of economic loss. But to survive in the society, Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is working the for the community livelihood improvement. In that case, cooperative initiative for community product development by the local villagers are working in all together and generating income for their family. Through their activities, produced mangrove pickle, molasses, mangrove honey and mangrove juice. All those are marketing in the local and regional market and also sometimes get the international access.
Objectives: Income generation through the local initiatives, attracting the tourist by the local product and cultural view.
By their theme they are running the activities and got a success that income generated and sharing the profit among the cooperatives members. BESD and community people want to more spread out these business for the community and country.
