This project will fund the shipments of emergency supplies and equipment to the central hospital in Guayaquil which was devastated by the most recent earthquake. Supplies and equipment will also be shared with the clinics in the smaller towns whose infrastructure was destroyed. VIDA is anticipating sending 5 containers in 2016 with a cost of $10,000 per containers.

This project will fund the shipments of emergency supplies and equipment to the central hospital in Guayaquil and local clinics. VIDA is anticipating sending 5 containers in 2016 with a cost of $10,000 per container. Each container is packed with $400K in supplies on average. Since 1995, VIDA has supported the work of Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil shipping over 50 containers carrying over $30 million in aid. JBG will disburse these supplies where needed most.
Support the doctors and staff with necessary medical equipment and supplies while the city and the hospital are rebuilt and eventually fully recovered.
