Hassan Says Thank You

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

Hassan never imagined he would have the chance to return to school. Diagnosed with Perthes disease, which restricts a patient's ability to walk, the challenge seemed insurmountable. How could a resident of Babsqa camps, displaced from his home, trek the 5 km distance to his school every day?

Let me tell you how—your donations made it possible.

Residing in Babsqa camps, Hassan faced a harsh life even for the healthy, let alone someone needing assistance for every task. The thought of pursuing education felt like an unattainable dream, his aspirations seemingly drowned in the hardships of camp life. However, your generosity, coupled with the initiative by Masarat, rekindled his hope. Hassan returned to his ninth-grade studies, fueled by the aspiration to succeed and continue towards his dream of studying medicine. Your support transformed despair into determination, making education a reality for Hassan against all odds.
