Empowered to Grow: Recent Highlights from Dhammajarinee

By Linda Wagoner | Director of Outreach

1st and 2nd Place honors in Muay Thai martial arts
1st and 2nd Place honors in Muay Thai martial arts

We are happy to share some recent highlights with you. These moments reflect the wide range of special opportunities you have made possible for the girls at Dhammajarinee. Because of your support, each girl is discovering her own unique path for growth and transformation.

Muay Thai Royal Trophy Winners

In March, Dhammajarinee students competed in the 4th Royal Trophy Competition, held under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, and were thrilled to receive 1st Place and 2nd Place honors in Muay Thai.

Muay Thai is Thailand’s traditional martial art, representing cultural heritage, respect, resilience, and inner strength. Through their training and performance, our students beautifully demonstrated these enduring values. What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is that they only began learning Muay Thai in September last year. Receiving a Royal Trophy is a tremendous honor for our school.

Enjoy their award-winning performance here.

Celebrating Graduation 2026

We are inspired to present the outstanding Class of 2026, who graduated on March 7 with a 100% Grade 12 completion rate. In addition, 45 of our 48 graduates are planning to continue their studies at universities across Thailand.

Our graduates will be pursuing a wide range of programs, including Mechanical Engineering Technology, Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Creative Invention Technology, Digital Marketing, Logistics, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Nursing, Occupational Health and Safety, Energy and Automation Systems, Food Business Management, and Music Education. Some are also entering unique fields such as Law and Information Technology, Communication and Media Innovation, Police Administration, and Muay Thai Studies—reflecting the diverse talents and aspirations of this year’s graduating class.

A Student Expression of Transformation

“I have learned the power of forgiveness and peace. I feel that I have finally let go of the heavy emotions I was carrying. The most important thing I learned is that we are not defined by our past; we are defined by the choices we make today.

My dream is to become a psychologist, so I can help other people find the same peace and healing that I found here. The quiet moments of reflection after meditation are when I truly feel at peace with my life.

(My message to our donors) Thank you for the safe environment. You have given me a sanctuary where I could finally heal my heart.”

Grateful for your support:

Your support continues to open doors, restore hope, and shape futures—one life, one opportunity, and one brave step forward at a time.
