AFRICAN ANGELS NEWSLETTER
February 2024

From the Principal's Desk

The Grade 7, 6, and 5 classes have presented inspirational lessons thus far on our dispositions through drama and song during assembly. Learners were actively engaged and enjoyed it very much.

We also had Wela Kapela visit African Angels to perform a puppet show where morals and life lessons were learnt.

The Grade 7 students organised a successful Valentine's Day entrepreneurship project, raising funds for their upcoming outing to Hobbiton. From planning to execution, they demonstrated valuable skills in research, writing promissory notes, making their own products and selling.

Grade R's enjoyed a delightful beach outing, while Grade 4 and 7 participated in an educational trip to the museum, engaging in a scavenger hunt to enhance their learning experience.

We also welcomed our new interns Luvuyo and Sinoxolo.

Our feeder pre-primary, Ikhwezilomso Early Childhood Development Centre, got its first temporary classroom this month. The grade RR class will be moving in as soon as the outside deck has been completed.

Overall, February has been a month filled with enriching experiences, student involvement, and dedicated efforts towards academic and personal development within our school community.

Teaser for March

We will be holding our annual fundraising Beach Walk on the 9 March. If you are in South Africa, grab some buddies and join us. Bring your R50 entrance fee to registration at Chintsa East Beach car park from 8am. The walk starts at 9.00 and prize-giving will be at 10:00.
