We are delighted to share the latest updates from Where Dreams Bloom – a program that empowers at-risk girls on their journey through education and personal growth.
Exploring Self-Understanding Through Gender Education
AAT organized the annual Back-to-School Gathering – a meaningful event aimed at strengthening the connection between project staff, students, and mothers in the program. This was not only an opportunity to welcome the new school year but also a chance for everyone to reflect on the past journey, share stories, challenges, and hopes for the future.During the meeting, mothers openly shared their efforts in caring for their children, their daily struggles, as well as their trust and expectations for their children’s education. Students also had the chance to interact and exchange with each other, sharing their dreams, learning goals, and plans for the new year, creating a warm, friendly, and inspiring atmosphere. In addition, the Back-to-School Support Program was implemented, providing school supplies and financial assistance to students – 1,500,000 VND for those moving to a higher education level and 1,000,000 VND for others. This initiative aims to help families reduce the financial burden at the beginning of the school year, particularly the costs of uniforms, textbooks, and learning materials, ensuring that students can start the new academic year fully equipped, confident, and motivated.
The year 2025 also marks a special milestone as Where Dreams Bloom celebrates its 10th anniversary. On this occasion, we organized a warm and meaningful celebration. The event welcomed former members – girls who once participated in the program and have now grown into strong and confident young women. After leaving the program, they have secured good jobs, continued to develop themselves, and pursued their dreams. Their presence was not only a source of pride for the project but also a living inspiration for the current participants, showing them that every effort made today can lead to a bright and promising future
In September and October, we conducted several assessments to review needs and identify cases requiring additional support. Through this process, our team identified and reached four new cases of girls in need of timely intervention. They have since been referred to and enrolled in the program to receive appropriate support.
A Heartfelt Thank You
These meaningful activities would not be possible without the generous support of our donors and community. We deeply appreciate your trust and commitment, which have brought positive change into the lives of these strong and resilient girls.
Please continue to follow the journey of Where Dreams Bloom as we build more stories filled with hope, strength, and love.
