Send 350 conflict-affected children in Borno back to school today. We provide full scholarships, learning kits, and trauma counseling for refugee children denied education by insurgency. Your support bridges the gap between displacement and a bright future, empowering vulnerable youth to rebuild their lives and escape the cycle of poverty.
In Borno, insurgency has destroyed over 800 schools, leaving refugee children vulnerable to armed recruitment and early marriage. Families displaced by violence have lost their livelihoods and cannot afford school levies. Currently, 350 children in our target community are out of school, battling severe trauma without support. Every day they remain idle increases their risk of exploitation and ensures the cycle of violence continues. They need a safe haven immediately.
We remove every financial barrier to education. Your donation directly funds full tuition, uniforms, textbooks, and backpacks for 350 students. We partner with safe local schools to ensure quality learning and retention. Crucially, we provide psychosocial support through "Peace Clubs," which help children process the trauma of displacement. We don't just pay fees; we create a holistic environment where refugee children are physically safe and mentally supported to learn.
Education is the ultimate vaccine against extremism. By keeping these children in school, we are raising a generation of peacebuilders, not fighters. This project creates a resilient, literate community capable of rebuilding Borno. These 350 students will grow into employed, empowered adults who break the cycle of poverty and lead their families out of the IDP camps, fostering lasting stability in North-East Nigeria.
