Hundreds of thousands of families in Mbarara District of Uganda have lost their dear-ones to HIV/AIDS. It has the highest numbers of orphans, and people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and are stuck in continuous poverty cycles. Orphans who lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and are currently staying with their needy relatives and helpless grand parents lack school tuition, scholastic materials and health care.
We operate in communities of Kakoba, Biharwe, Kakiika, and Nyakayojo sub counties where we have supported 40 vulnerable children with scholastic materials and school fees. In partnership with the Local structures and other schools we also provide school fees and pads to 500 vulnerable children in Mbarara district
We will educate over 1000 vulnerable children especially those affected by HIV/AIDS and cannot afford primary education and secondary education so as to reduce on the rampant poverty in their households by creating community income generating activities and livelihood programs.
