On the occasion of the International Day to Protect Education from Attack, we would like, in Masarat Initiative, to express our deep appreciation for your continuous support. Without your assistance, we wouldn't have been able to provide significant educational support to Syrian students who have been affected by these attacks.
Syria has endured years of conflict and turmoil over the past decade, and education has been one of the sectors hardest hit. 353 schools were destroyed, and 87 other educational facilities were damaged, directly affecting the lives of 216,000 children.
However, thanks to your contributions, we have been able to secure free education for over 18,000 students, most of whom come from the most vulnerable segments of society, especially those who lost their schools due to conflicts or the devastating earthquake that struck the region earlier this year.
In the coming year, we aim to provide free education to an additional 12,580 students, in our attempt to bridge a larger part of this significant gap. We firmly believe that education is the key to nation-building and individual empowerment.
All of this would not be possible without your generosity. Your support means a lot to us.
