As we’ve concluded the first academic semester, we are eager to share a crucial update on our progress and the challenges we faced. During this period, Masarat Initiative successfully served 5,636 students thanks to your support, marking a significant step towards realizing our vision for education that extends to every corner of the community.
We observed that the current social situation in war struck Northern Syria and its associated pressures, significantly impacted their attendance rates which stood at 42.52%, with females at 48% and males at 33.5%. This disparity reflects the complex reality our students face, where many males are compelled to undertake additional responsibilities, including working to provide for their families affected severely by the war and the loss of the family breadwinner.
Understanding these challenges highlights the vital role of the Student Affairs team at Masarat. Our team is dedicated to organizing direct and effective communication with each student, closely monitoring their situations, and providing the necessary support to meet their needs. Through these efforts, we aim to empower students to overcome barriers and return to their educational path.
Thank you, for your continuous support and generous contributions. You are our partners in this journey of sustainable education. Together, we continue to strive for a positive and tangible change in the lives of our students.
