Can you imagine the joy in a child's eyes as they trade work tools for a pen and notebook?
In northwestern Syria, young children with weary hands and forgotten dreams are forced into hard labor instead of sitting in a classroom. Imagine how their lives have transformed because you decided to give them a chance at a dignified life!
318,000 children faced a fate unworthy of their childhood. According to the Syria Response Coordinators Organization, 85% of school dropouts had no choice but to engage in harsh and dangerous labor just to survive. Imagine that! 2 out of 5 children leave school because poverty denies them the luxury of education.
But thanks to you, we are changing this reality!
At Masarat, we work to bring these children back to school, away from harsh labor environments. So far, we have successfully helped dozens of children leave hazardous workplaces and return to their classrooms—at no cost to them.
Think about it: these children, who once toiled under the scorching sun or in dark factory basements, are now learning the skills that will transform their futures forever.
Their education means they no longer have to sell their childhood just to afford a meal. It means they now have the chance to become doctors, teachers, engineers, or anything they dream of. It means they will break free from the cycle of poverty they were born into.
Today, every child who moves from labor to our digital learning spaces is a step toward ending generational poverty.
Imagine their joy as they hold pens instead of sharp tools. Imagine the tears in their mothers' eyes—mothers who once feared their children's futures were lost forever.
All of this happened because of you. Because you did not turn a blind eye to their suffering. Because you chose to be part of the solution.
We deeply appreciate your commitment and generosity. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you have done and will continue to do. Thank you—not just for saving a child, but for saving an entire future.
