Dear Supporter,
Due to Covid-19 schools and children’s Centres have been closed since March so the Y-Peer work could not proceed.
However Ora, our partner in Moldova who also supports Y- Peer Moldova, helped poor children from Esther House (some of them participate in Y Peer workshops) to distribute social packages ( food, hygiene products, disinfectant ) to even poorer families.
Like the family of Igor. Igor and his two sisters live with their mother. The mother lost her job and because of quarantine, she couldn’t get a job even as a seasonal land worker because no one worked during quarantine. The family was in a very desperate position. They received food from and clothes for the children.
The social packages helped many families survive during the lockdown.
Moreover it gave children the opportunity to learn to care for more vulnerable people than themselves.
With your help we are changing the lives of vulnerable children in Moldova.
Thank you for your kind support
