Summary

This project will provide educational support and life skills training to children and young people at risk. Up to 500 children and young people will be assisted by this programme in Ukraine and Moldova.

Challenge

Support Learning: Many children struggle with learning due to working parents, disrupted homes, or come from poor families. They may live with relatives as parents work abroad or face issues like alcohol abuse and violence. Rural Education: Rural schools lack essential equipment and proper playgrounds for children, hindering their educational experience. Independent Living: Only 10% of orphan boarding school graduates fully integrate socially, often leaving the orphanage with psychological scars

Solution

Offer after-school clubs,homework help&diverse learning experiences like arts&dance to boost fitness& self-confidence. Independent Living:Provide safe dormitories for teenage orphans,offering a life-changing program,structured courses on health,hygiene, time,money, substance abuse risks& formal/informal education, psychological support &guidance from social workers.Acquire essential teaching equipment to support learning.Fund playground installation for kids development & a nurturing environment

Long-Term Impact

Support Learning: Children gain a fuller education with dedicated attention, improving their academic results for higher education & a solid foundation. Confident &prepared for the future, they develop positively. Independent Living:Young people avoid common post-care challenges,building responsibility,confidence & acquiring education or job skills. Supplying classrooms&playgrounds enhances learning, fosters children's physical development & ensures children's well-being, fostering care&security
