Educate 98 Orphans of Boko Haram Terrorist Victims

Summary

In Northeast Nigeria, over 2 million children have lost parents due to Boko Haram violence, with 98 orphans under our care left without access to schooling. Most live in overcrowded shelters where education is out of reach. Without help, these children face child labor, early marriage, or recruitment by armed groups. This project will provide tuition, books, uniforms, meals, and safe learning spaces, giving them the chance to learn and build a stable future.

Challenge

Thousands of children in Northeast Nigeria have lost parents to Boko Haram attacks. Among them, 98 orphans are in urgent need of education. Most live in shelters where families cannot afford school fees or basic materials. Without schooling, they are vulnerable to street begging, exploitation, or child marriage. Lack of education deepens poverty and prolongs instability in their communities. These children risk becoming another lost generation if urgent steps are not taken.

Solution

The project will cover tuition, school materials, uniforms,& daily meals for 98 orphans.Teachers will provide structured learning in a safe environment, while volunteers will mentor the children to encourage consistent attendance. Access to education will help protect them from child labor & recruitment into violent groups. With proper care and consistent schooling, these children can develop literacy, numeracy, and social skills needed to pursue further learning & later secure stable livelihood.

Long-Term Impact

Educating these 98 orphans lays the foundation for long-term stability in their lives and communities. Literate and skilled children are less likely to be trapped in cycles of poverty or violence. As they grow, they can contribute positively to rebuilding their communities and creating safer spaces for younger children. Education will give them the tools to move beyond survival, breaking intergenerational cycles of illiteracy and instability caused by conflict.
