Educate a child, and prevent gender-based violence has been gaining momentum steadily which the team is very grateful for. The project started very slowly due to the pandemic and people have just started getting back out and working. So it has dampened the donation from people.
To date, we have received 500 USD from community members since we started the campaign and we hope to achieve a lot more especially now that we have three (3) members who will be apart of the campaign team.
We are very far from our target, but we are very hopeful that we will achieve a lot more in the coming weeks to help the children who are in need of assistance.
The team has acquired the land for the construction which has a value of over 100,000 USD. This is a very huge step because we have cleared the land and are making the necessary preparations to continue our fundraising.
I would like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all the donors, we truly appreciate your support and we are looking forward to working with you.
