Hope and Help Society plans to provide free and quality education for deaf children in Somalia, particularly those who lack access to basic schooling. Our project will encompass support for school fees, transportation costs, scholastic materials, and teacher incentives for deaf children in Somalia. By eliminating financial barriers and ensuring essential resources for education, we aim to empower deaf children and enhance their future opportunities.
Education for deaf children in Somalia faces deep-seated challenges due to social stigmas. Parents often prioritize able-bodied children over deaf ones, hindering access to education. Limited physical access to schools, inadequate resources, and negative attitudes further impede learning..
Hope and Help Society's project in Somalia will provide financial support, improve physical access to schools, offer essential resources, foster community support, and implement monitoring mechanisms. Through these efforts, the project will provide free and quality education for deaf children, empowering them to overcome barriers and improve their future opportunities.
The project will provide free education, empower 50 deaf children, dismantle social stigmas, and create a more inclusive society by addressing the limited access to quality education.
