Milra, an intern at Develop Africa Sierra Leone, visited 18 girls that have been supported by donors like YOU. She tells us in this video about her visit to girls in Freetown-
Hello, my name is Milra and I am an intern at Develop Africa Sierra Leone. I have been part of a program which is girls mentoring and coaching and I have done a fieldwork survey on the Develop Africa girls. I visited 18 of these girls across Freetown. These girls that I have met with, most of them are very intelligent and brilliant girls, although they may not have the best, but most of them are very intelligent, very brave and very interesting. These are our leaders of tomorrow. We need your support in helping these girls. Thank you very much!
One of the girls Milra visited was Hannah. In her report, Milra said, "Hannah is living in the Mambo Community with her parents, four sisters and their two kids. She is attending the El-Shaddai Primary school and is in class 5. Her mom sells medicines in the community. She strives hard to put food on the table for her family. Hannah appears healthy and is growing into a beautiful young lady. She eats three square meals every day. Hannah likes to play a lot and also study at night. Her future career goal is to become an accountant."
