By Amy M Baty-Herbert | Project Leader
Dear Project Supporters,
Thanks to your ongoing support of girls' education, 45 girls in Freetown received financial support to pay for their school fees for the 2021-2022 school year. The girls receiving school support ranged from Nursery school all the way through Senior Secondary school.
During the distribution, both the girls and the parents were very excited and grateful about the educational support they were receiving. Mariama, pictured above, is one of the junior secondary students that received support, and Rugiatu, pictured below, is one of the primary students that received support.
Theresa, Develop Africa Sierra Leone team member, reminded each of the girls who received educational support of the value of girl child education and advised the girls to keep their focus on education.
If you are not yet a recurring donor, we warmly invite you to consider setting up a recurring donation. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way.

Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
