Project Supporters,
A few weeks back we reported that the Computer Lab at the FAWE all-girls school received new computers. The Raspberry Pi’s that were in the Fawe Lab were replaced with a windows-based system rather than the Linux system they previously had been using.
The girls at the FAWE school have now started using the new computers in their computer lab. This is their first experience with the Windows 10 Operating System and they are enjoying learning how to use the new computers.
The FAWE girls are learning the different parts of a computer, the differences between hardware and software, identifying the hardware parts of the computer, learning about the mouse and its functions, opening files, learning how to drag & drop, how to refresh a Windows system and how to use the keyboard.
Your generous support continues to impact the girls' education at the FAWE School. We are truly grateful for your generosity. Every dollar donated makes an impact on girls' education.
We warmly invite you to consider setting up a recurring donation if you haven't already done so. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With great appreciation,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
