Young Ladies Receiving Test Prep Study Guides

As the school year winds down, many students around the world are preparing for their final exams or exams that promote the student(s) to the next grade.  In Sierra Leone, those tests are the National Primary School Examination (NPSE), which promotes elementary students to Junior Secondary School, the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) which promotes Junior Secondary students to Senior Secondary, and the West African Senior School Certification Examination (WASSCE) which is the final exam of Senior Secondary School.  Once a student passes the WASSCE, they are then able to go to college.

Thanks in part to your support, eight young ladies who are preparing to take the BECE and the WASSCE received study guides and practice tests in both English & Mathematics.  One of the young ladies preparing to take her WASSCE, Elizabeth, expresses her gratitude in this video saying-

Hello, my name is Elizabeth. I am one of the beneficiaries of Develop Africa. I want to say a very big thank you to the sponsors and donors for these books.

These books will help us in our  Basic Education Certificate Examination and the West African Secondary School Examination. We want to say a very big thank you!

Elizabeth would like to attend college to study medicine and become a medical doctor after she passes her WASSCE exam this year.  We are truly grateful for your generosity. Every dollar donated makes an impact on girls' education, like Elizabeth.

We warmly invite you to consider setting up a recurring donation if you haven't already done so. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

With great appreciation,

Amy and the Develop Africa team
