In December, an inter-mentoring debating competition was held on the topic “formal education is the key to personal success”. Forty-five (25 girls and 20 boys) beneficiaries attended the event.
Four girls from the girls' mentoring group and four boys from the boys' mentoring group debated on the topic of formal education being the key to personal success. The boys mentoring group supported the motion that formal education is the key to personal success while the girls' mentoring group disagreed with the motion. Haja, Koterah, Marian, and Mariama (pictured above) debated on behalf of the girls and won the debate.
Thank you for your support towards empowering and educating girls in Africa. Making a monthly donation is the most effective way to help girls get their education, but every dollar donated makes a difference!
