Doing homework and studying outside of the classroom is common for school students. Having a quiet, comfortable place to do your homework and study improves a student's ability to focus and retain information. Thanks in part to your support, Marian & Haja both recently received a desk at their homes. They are both very thankful for the desks and expressed their gratitude in this video saying
Hello, my name is Marian. I want to say a very big thank you to Develop Africa for providing me with this study table.
Hello, my name is Haja. I want to say a very big thank you to Develop Africa for providing me with a study table and chair. Before I never used to have one, I always used to sit on the floor.
Your support is empowering and educating girls, like Marian & Haja, in Sierra Leone. Making a monthly donation is the most effective way to help girls, but every dollar donated makes a difference! If you are not yet a recurring donor and would like to sign up for a recurring donation go here.

With great appreciation
