International Women's Day celebrated gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. When girls are educated they become empowered women. Thanks to your support, more girls, like Mbalu, are getting their education. Mbalu received educational support that consisted of school fees, school books, and supplies for this school year and she also received food support. Mbalu and her parents were so thankful for the educational and food support they received.
Mbalu lives in the Kamawornie Village and is in junior secondary school (JSS). She loves going to school and her favorite subjects are English and Social Studies. She would like to become a nurse when she grows up and completes her education so she can help take care of the sick people in her village.
We are excited for Mbalu and what her future holds. We invite you to help change more girls' lives. Making a monthly donation is the most effective way to help girls get their education, but every dollar donated makes a difference!
