Nchunmalen's Journey

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Nchunmalen Now
Nchunmalen Now

Nchunmalen lives with her parents and 2 sisters in a small, corrugated-zinc house. Her father is a pastor and her mother has a small-scale business. Nchunmalen enjoys reading, singing, movies, and school. She has wanted to be a nurse since she was a little girl.

We introduced Nchunmalen back in 2018 when she was in Class 6, she is now in senior secondary school.  We are happy that Nchunmalen has been thriving in school for the past 6 years thanks in part to your support.

The long-term impact of educating girls extends far beyond individual success; it serves as a cornerstone for societal progress. Every contribution, whether through monthly donations or one-time gifts, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of girls like Nchunmalen.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

With great appreciation,

Amy and the Develop Africa team

PS. Save the Date: We invite you to join us in celebrating the power of small acts of generosity during GlobalGiving's Little by Little campaign, taking place from April 8th to 12th. Your donations of up to $50 during this special campaign will be matched by GlobalGiving at 50%, increasing the impact of your contribution.
