Mosquito Nets Help Keep Girls in School

As we approach World Malaria Day on April 25th, it's important to acknowledge the significant impact of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) in preventing malaria.

ITNs aka mosquito nets serve as a vital tool in malaria prevention by creating a physical barrier between mosquitoes and individuals, thereby reducing the risk of infection.

Haja, a beneficiary of Develop Africa, shares her experience:

"Hello, my name is Haja. I am a beneficiary of Develop Africa. Three months ago, I received a mosquito net which my family and I now use for sleeping. Since then, I haven't come in contact with mosquitoes, and I haven't had malaria. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for this wonderful gift."

Haja's testimony underscores the transformative impact of ITNs in safeguarding girls from malaria, enabling them to focus on their education and pursue their dreams.

We extend our gratitude to you for your educational support for girls including resources, such as ITNs, that help keep them in school.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

Warm regards,

Amy and the Develop Africa team
