In Sierra Leone, access to quality education for girls remains a challenge. However, thanks to generous donors like you, meaningful change is happening.
A recent visit by Kamawornie Nursery School teachers to the FAWE Pre-primary school in Freetown exemplifies the impact of your generosity. The Nursery teachers participated in hands-on learning experiences that will directly enhance the quality of education they provide to their students.
During their visit, these dedicated educators had the opportunity to observe and engage with experienced teachers, learning firsthand how to plan and deliver engaging lessons. They saw innovative classroom management techniques, strategies for fostering social and cognitive development, and ways to create a nurturing environment where young girls can thrive.
Through this experience, Kamawornie Nursery School teachers gained invaluable insights into curriculum implementation, student engagement, and best practices for early childhood education.
Your contributions provide more than just school supplies or tuition assistance; they create lasting change by improving the quality of education from the ground up. Together, we can break barriers, uplift communities, and shape the future of Sierra Leone—one classroom at a time.
Thank you for being a champion for girls’ education!
With gratitude,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
