Thanks in part to your unwavering support, the Develop Africa Sierra Leone team continues to transform lives and create meaningful opportunities for individuals in Sierra Leone. Today, we’re thrilled to share a heartfelt reflection from Aminata who captures the spirit of our mission in action.

Aminata, the Program Coordinator of Develop Africa Sierra Leone, shares what her job means to her in capturing a moment with one of the beneficiaries.

"In this moment, I’m not just holding a camera; I’m fulfilling a core part of my work with Develop Africa. Meet one of our beneficiaries, Kotera, whose life we strive to transform. Bravely, she is sharing her story and seeking guidance.

Through this process, I provide more than just a listening ear—I offer counseling and mentorship, creating a safe and supportive space where she can express herself freely. At Develop Africa, we are committed to empowering young girls to rise above their challenges, and this interaction is one way we turn that commitment into action.

This is more than just documentation; it’s about making a meaningful impact. Every session, every conversation, and every connection reinforces our mission to empower lives, nurture dreams, and foster hope. Behind the lens and through counseling, I am proud to contribute to this transformative journey."

Your generosity makes moments like these possible. By supporting Develop Africa, you are empowering girls like Kotera and enabling dedicated team members like Aminata to create safe spaces for growth, mentorship, and transformation.

Thank you for being a vital part of this journey. Together, we’re fostering hope and building brighter futures.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
