We are thrilled to share that Geraldine, who began receiving support from Develop Africa in 2015, graduated on Wednesday, February 19, with a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ghana! Her journey is a testament to the power of education and the incredible impact of donor support.
Geraldine’s achievement would not have been possible without the generosity of donors like you. Your support has helped her pursue higher education, and build a future full of possibilities.
Geraldine has worked tirelessly to reach this moment, and your kindness has been a vital part of her journey. As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child.” You are part of that village, shaping futures and changing lives.
Investing in girls’ education in Sierra Leone is life-changing. Educated girls are more likely to become financially independent, contribute to their communities, and break the cycle of poverty for future generations. Geraldine’s success story is proof of what is possible when girls have access to education and the resources they need to thrive.
From all of us at Develop Africa—and from Geraldine herself—thank you for making this moment possible. Your support is more than a donation; it is a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift generations to come.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Amy & the Develop Africa Team
