Your generosity is opening doors for young girls at the FAWE All-Girls Computer Lab in Freetown, Sierra Leone—and the impact is truly transformational. Because of your support, these students are gaining the digital skills they need to succeed in a technology-driven world.
During a recent training session, the girls received hands-on guidance from their computer tutor. From opening and closing files to exploring different programs, the tutor walked them through each step, asking questions to check their understanding and boosting their confidence with every interaction.
Marian and Roseline practiced locating and playing a video from their school’s cultural festival shown in this video. They then worked on file management, closing both the file and the Windows Explorer program—learning not just the steps, but the why behind them.
These sessions are about more than just computers—they're about building confidence, sparking curiosity, and preparing girls for a future filled with opportunities.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support is helping girls break barriers and thrive in a digital age.
Warm regards,
Amy & the Develop Africa Team
