We have exciting news to share—together, we reached our goal of collecting 100,000 pencils for the Year of the Pencil campaign! This milestone would not have been possible without your incredible generosity and support.
But our journey doesn’t stop here. The next step is just as important: ensuring all 100,000 pencils make it safely to Sierra Leone. Once they arrive, we will attempt something historic—distributing all 100,000 pencils in a single day!
Save the date: November 20th—World Children’s Day!
On this special day, we will celebrate children everywhere by placing pencils into the hands of 10,000 students across Sierra Leone. Each pencil will not only provide a vital tool for learning but also serve as a symbol of hope and opportunity.
This campaign is about more than pencils—it’s about unlocking potential, supporting education, and making history together. Your generosity is helping fuel a movement that will leave a lasting impact on thousands of young lives.
Thank you for standing with us and for believing in the power of education. Let’s continue this momentum as we prepare for November 20th. Together, we are writing a brighter future for Sierra Leone’s children.
