Education is one of the greatest investments in the life of a child, and examinations like the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) serve as vital milestones in that journey. In Sierra Leone, the NPSE determines whether pupils can advance to Junior Secondary School (JSS) and provides valuable insight into their academic strengths, challenges, and readiness for the next phase of learning.
For the students supported through Develop Africa, these results represent far more than test scores—they are a reflection of hard work, perseverance, and the collective dedication of parents, teachers, and the programs that make their education possible.
One shining example is Precious, who scored an impressive aggregate of 297, demonstrating balanced performance across all subjects. Her strong results in Mathematics (60) and General Paper (60) highlight her academic capability and focus, while her Quantitative (56) shows room for continued improvement. Precious has consistently shown determination and curiosity in her studies, embodying the spirit of a learner committed to growth.
Beyond the classroom, Precious has big dreams—she loves reading and aspires to work in a bank one day. Her ambition reflects the power of education to inspire confidence and envision a brighter future.
The NPSE outcomes remind us that every child holds incredible potential, but realizing that potential requires continued guidance, resources, and encouragement. Through your support, students like Precious can strengthen their skills, build confidence, and take the next step toward achieving their dreams.
Together, we’re not just celebrating exam results—we’re celebrating the promise of a brighter future for every child who dares to dream and learn. Thank you for standing with Precious—and with all the girls in Sierra Leone who are working hard to build better futures.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Amy & The Develop Africa Team
