We are happy to share a wonderful update about Onike, whose journey many of you have supported over the past several years.
We first introduced Onike in November 2020 as a special needs student who was struggling significantly in school. Thanks to your generosity, she received the support of a private tutor from November 2020 through June 2022, which helped strengthen her foundational learning skills. In 2023, Onike was able to return to school and gradually began rebuilding her academic confidence.
Today, we are delighted to report great progress.
Onike has successfully passed her National Primary School Examination and is now enrolled in Junior Secondary School (JSS1). This is a significant milestone in her educational journey and a meaningful achievement considering the challenges she has faced along the way.
Onike continues to be known for her friendly and cheerful personality, and she remains well-liked by her classmates. While she still works through some learning challenges, her determination and the support around her are helping her continue forward in her education.
Thank you for believing in Onike and helping support her on this journey. Your kindness continues to open doors and create opportunities for students who need it most.
