14 young women were in the group of 25 students who recently graduated from the Develop Africa Sierra Leone Computer School after completing an intensive Microsoft Office training program. Throughout the course, students developed practical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher—essential tools for higher education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
At the graduation ceremony, every student received a certificate recognizing their achievement. Graduates included Jamestina, pictured above. Jamestina completed the program with determination and enthusiasm, gaining hands-on experience that will strengthen her educational journey and expand her career opportunities.
Your support of girls’ education is equipping them with the practical skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to become financially independent and contribute to their communities.
Young women like Jamestina are proof that when girls receive access to education and technology, they gain the tools to build brighter futures for themselves and inspire those around them.
Thank you for investing in girls’ education and helping create the next generation of educated, skilled, and confident young women leaders.
With gratitude,
Amy & the Develop Africa Team
