Educate a Girl, Educate a Nation - Sierra Leone

Every student's success is made possible through the dedication of multiple people, including the volunteers who serve on our Board of Directors. While our staff works directly with students and communities each day, our board members provide the guidance, oversight, and leadership that help our programs grow and remain sustainable for years to come.

Our newest Develop Africa Sierra Leone Board Member, Madam Mbalu, recently visited our office for a familiarization tour.

During her visit, Madam Mbalu met with staff members to learn more about Develop Africa's mission, vision, and the educational programs that supporters like you make possible. She also toured our Computer Training Lab, where she met students who are gaining valuable digital skills that will prepare them for future careers and opportunities.

As she spoke with the students, Madam Mbalu encouraged them to stay committed to their education and continue developing the skills that will help them become tomorrow's leaders. She also commended Develop Africa's efforts to empower young people through education and technology, recognizing the life-changing impact these programs have on individuals, families, and communities.
